Have you ever thought of something so crazy that it might just work? Well Fabio Zaffagnini, a huge Foo Fighters fan has, and he has bought his dream to fruition.
Frustrated that the Foo Fighters weren’t coming to his small hometown Cesena, Italy, Fabio decided to make them pay a visit.
Fabio started an organization call “Rockin’ 1,000” and organized what might just be the largest band ever. A huge accumulation of 1,000 Foo fans got together to perform the song “Learn to Fly” and created a video along with it, which has gone viral receiving millions of views and a response from Dave Grohl himself.
Now this video is mind boggling to watch…I mean I thought that it was a challenge to make a four-piece band sound tight. I have no idea how Fabio did it, but its scored him some huge respect in the industry.
Dave’s response might be just as epic as the mega video. He posted a video response on the Foo Fighters Facebook page speaking entirely in Italian. The message roughly translates to “Hi, Cesena! I am David, hello. I’m sorry, I don’t speak Italian. Only a little, a little. That video – but how beautiful! Very beautiful. Thank you very much [literally: a thousand thanks]. We are arriving [coming], I promise. We’ll see each other soon. Thank you very much. I love you. Bye.”
Now its definitely worth giving this video a watch, prepare to be amazed.
